Sad day for the R.A.F.

Oh, what a very sad day for Her Majesty's R.A.F.

My saucy undercover snapper Pvte Angel (become me friend to check out her sexy photos on our Myspace page) captured these sad photos at Southampton docks today.

They show what was once the Pride of the RAF's strike force.

The terror of the Argentines.

The scourge of the Taliban.

The once fearsome Harrier Jump jet .

Now shrouded in tarpaulin, bubble-wrapped for their final journey (by ship! ) to the USA where they'll be reduced to spare parts for the U.S. Marine Corp's Harrier fleet.

The Yanks purchased (bloody stole more like!) 72 of 'em for a mere £110 miliion, after they were carelessly thrown away by our useless penny pinchers in our controversial defence cuts.

The clever, far sighted Americans will use them to keep their 120 Harriers, or AV8's as they call 'em, in action for the next 15 years.

£110 million!

Sod the accountants! I flogged one me self to our local Scrappy for a cheeky few quid -cash mind -and now the silly bugger wants the Pentagon's phone number...

Well, they're not getting our bloody last one, I can tell you!

Here's some snaps of ours in happier Harrier times.

Be sure to check out the RAF's Harrier page... whilst it's still there!

Golf in the Gulf!

CLASSIFIED: FRIENDLY EYES ONLY

What ho!

Well, I say...

Following on from the still mainly secret excitement of my previous mission, as recorded in this honest to goodness statement http://royalairfarce.blogspot.com/2011/12/top-secret-all-terrain-flying-boat.html on this 'ere covert blog, where I uncovered this hostile monstrosity in an unnamed (for security purposes, don't y'know) desert location ...

... Our Hi-tech Ministry of Defence Signals Command,

here in our Top Secret Nuclear Bunker, Biggin Hill, Great Britain, Europe,

translated an invitation from a friendly Sand-Jockey Rag Head, Sheik Yermonie, to play a round of golf upon his rather ostentatious, and obviously very select, mobile private golf club...

somewhere in the Arabian sea.

Apparently, he needs to keep on the move to prevent over exposure to assassins.

(Who are mainly his own cousins! But there you go, one supposes it's always best to keep it in the family...)

Anyhow, Her Majesty's Government urged me to accept his kind offer.

And, by gad, ordered me to surreptitiously lose the game!

But that's the handicap one must carry being an International Super Hero and Cunning Diplomat.

The officially unofficial reasons behind this most unsporting decision lie in the straits which dominate the shipping channels in this most sensitive oil drenched region.

You see, Her Majesty's Royal Navy, God bless 'em, need to keep our very importantly strategic Naval Base (nestled at the furthest tip of his remotest sand duned coast) to maintain our vital, in not quite magnificent, Arabian fleet,

so that it's ready, as ever, to assist our gallant American allies at their nearby U.S. Navy outpost a few miles further down the coast...

...in their aggressive peace keeping. And, quite frankly, who can blame them for keeping a sizeable piece of any baddie country we defeat?

So I clambered aboard my trusty Royal Air Farce Bristol Belvedere chopper,

As piloted by me lovely Top Gun; Captain Carstairs.

And crewed by a beautiful bevy of me favourite Royal Air Farce Hostesses, to keep me, ahem, entertained, during the long flight.

However, due to the extreme distance, which I'm terribly sorry but the official secrets act will not allow me to divulge, but lets just say for now it was deep in international waters, we had to transfer to a patrolling leviathan of a U.S. Navy Carrier for the onward journey.

Well aware of my reputation and insatiable appetites, the Yank Wrens aboard made me very welcome indeed...

After plenty of me lovely tea 'n' tiffing (oh, that tiffing!) I was ready for the orf to the Sheik's Golf (Gulf?) Carrier, but was somewhat aghast at the transport the U.S. Navy Air Arm offered...

An ancient Sikorsky Dragonfly!

Apparently the Carrier's cigar chomping Admiral thought it would be rather a hoot to transport one old war icon in another!

Fortunately, he had the good taste to order some rather fetching modifications with my good self in mind...

So pleasing in fact, were the helios improvements, his randy Number One attempted to join us!

His ship mates promptly tugged him orf, and Fairfax swung my chopper over the ocean to the Sheik's playship so we could have our little game.

Between me and thee, I enjoyed his specially laid on 19th hole the best!

Must say, I've become somewhat addicted to the this ol' golf nonsense now. Ttfn, I'm orf to play around with me lovely Carrauthers, Fairfax and Carstairs!

Toddle-pip!

2012: Secret French plan to evade Mayan curse revealed...

2012: Secret French plan to evade Mayan curse revealed...

The Franco-German Eiffel Tower Euro Space escape rocket.

My covert satellite images show how seriously the dastardly French, our snivelling pretend allies, and the true historical enemies of the British Empire, take the ancient Mayan prophecies of a doom laden 2012.

The entire French establishment, along with, we suspect, their German allies, are currently circling the earth in the hastily converted Eiffel Tower Euro Space escape rocket, where they hope to sit out the predicted imminent disaster awaiting the rest of us.

Fear ye not, friends, because, fortunately for the good people of Planet Earth, Britain, once again, proudly rises to the rescue.

On the very stroke of midnight, New year's eve, under the cover of thousands of celebratory fireworks, the woefully underfunded British Space Corps secretly launched it's hi-tec bakelite rocketship, HMS "Red Ensign", piloted by my close pal, the enigmatic Commander Dan Dare.

HMS Red Ensign

Commander Dare heroically tracked, and diverted off course, a gigantic metallic meteorite that would have otherwise done to us what it's ancient relative did to the poor dinosaurs.

Commander Dan Dare, pilot of the future.

Whilst we all breathe our collective sighs of relief, please spare a tiny, passing thought for the rather selfish French and German establishments, as they cosy up together in their cabins amid the rusty ironwork of their Eiffel Tower Spaceship.

Dan's deflected metallic meteorite is obviously magnetic and therefore will be attracted to any passing ore, or even an iron structure, in it's way.

And, dash it, wouldn't you know, our comms seem to be down at the mo'...

Happy New Year!

Top Secret all terrain flying boat Carrier

What ho, Chaps!

Please don't blab about it to anyone unsuitable, but I just thought I'd share one of me covert photos I snook whilst on a Recon-sabotage mission.
For all the usual obvious political sensitivities, I'm afraid I cannot either divulge, nor admit to, the extent of the any, ahem, alleged sabotage in the desert.
However, I can display this reconnaissance snap of the Top Secret all terrain flying boat Carrier built, at enormous cost, for a recently disposed Arab despot dictator.

Fortunately for your very own favourite suave action hero fly-boy, he lavished more of his vast oil revenue on his ostentatious toy than on tricky anti surveillance systems...
