Duck! More flying cars!

Invent a flying car, Live long and prosper!
Even Spock's got one!

Carruthers rather fancies this sporty Italian design, the Cell Craft G440,
the first serious European one, after finding all about it, and it's "exciting" helicopter pilot designer Gino d'Ignazio Gizio here

Carruthers! Is that your Mum, Mrs Carruthers in one?

This one's a tad dangerous...What if achap fell orf?
He'd be legless without drinking any alcohol!

Jetson's flying car

Canadian inventor Dr. Paul Moller's Moller International M200G Volantor – a real life Jetson Car (flies at 10 foot!)

Flying Orf the production lines...

Carruthers, clever gal, found these new fangled flying cars aren't such a new idea, after all...

Convair flying car

1950s dream

PAL-V

Moller's flying car,(below) 100 mph, a cruise speed of 75 mph, a range of roughly 100 miles and a payload of 250 pounds. Bit of cheat as it "flies" at 10 feet above any surface. however, at this altitude, it does not fall under the regulatory arm of the FAA. Costs $125,000.

The Terrafugia’s Transition, around US$150,000, apparently has advance orders of about 100 for sometime before 2012!

No more traffic jams for some...

Flys at speeds of 200mph and ceilings at 25,000 feet!

The Air Car has four doors and five seats, and a road speed of 85mph.

Sci Fi?
Apparently not, the AirCar is designed by Milner Motors, who say it will be in production form by 2010, at a cost of $450,000 - about £250k in real money.

I have, of course, ordered The Royal Air Farce to buy me one, an Officer of my standing etc, to go with my other staff car

Carruthers says it's strange there are no pictures of the Milner AirCar actually flying...

Unless of course, any dear readers have more intel...

Obviously, to avoid any unpleasant jealousy among the ranks, a much cheaper, K-mart version is available...
