Intel has released these formally Top Secret pics from Operation Bright Star for your delectation.
Bright Star is a series of biennial combined training exercises led by US & Egyptian Forces.
These exercises began in 1980, when the military forces of Egypt and the United States agreed to conduct coalition training in Egypt.
They are designed to strengthen ties between the Egyptians and the U.S. and, of course, demonstrate the ability of the Americans to reinforce their allies in the Middle East in the event of war.
Since the Gulf wars, the exercises have grown larger and included up to 11 countries and 70,000 personnel.
